Elena Perez, M.S.T.C.M., L.Ac. has studied Asian Bodywork therapies since 2002 and Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine formally since 2005. She received her BS in Medical Anthropology at UC Berkeley and her MS in TCM from the Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Sciences (ACCHS) in Oakland, CA.
She became a licensed Acupuncturist in 2017 and continues her education today in the Doctorate program at ACCHS where she is studying advanced orthopedic acupuncture techniques, stroke rehabilitation, and Classical Chinese Herbology.
Completion of her Doctorate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) is expected in 2019. She has gratefully learned and practiced under the tutelage of many knowledgeable, experienced, and celebrated practitioners.
She has formerly offered acupressure and massage at Wind & Water Bodywork and acupuncture at Zen Den in Fresno. She is currently conducting a study of acupuncture interventions for patients suffering from peripheral neuropathy at a local podiatry office.
Although a busy mom and working practitioner, Elena finds time to volunteer and carves out time for self care whenever possible. She is enthusiastic to be a part of the Downtown growth and is pleased to offer acupuncture, tui na, and classical Chinese herbology to the Fresno community.
