Self-Care is especially significant for the season we are entering. Fall and winter can be tricky times as the energy of the world shifts from bright active days of summer (yang) to the more internal, sedate, and restful cold days of fall and winter (yin).
Learn about some basics of Chinese Herbology and remedies appropriate to this season where we will create a container of mulling spices for warming the body, a decoction for overindulgence and an emotional-balancing brew for emotion stirred up by the festivities. We will also learn simple acupressure and qi gong moving meditation techniques for dealing with indigestion and promotion of emotional balance.
